It was the honoring of another historical event as the Bishop of the Niger Delta Diocese, RT. Ralph Ebirien and the members of the St Stephens Cathedral Anglican Church Bonny Island gave a remarkable launch of one of the first boat Bishop Ajayi Crowther used in His missionary in Bonny Island and his movement . The Bishop Ajayi Crowther Boat house which foundation was laid to mark the first cathedral memorial celebration in Bonny on the 30th of September 2012 by his majesty, King Edward Asimini Williams Dappa Pepple III, Amayanabo of grand Bonny, was commissioned on sunday the 31st of March 2013 (Easter Sunday) by the current Local Government Chairman, Barr. Edward Pepple and was dedicated by his lordship, the Rt. Rev Ralph Cornelius Ebirien (Bishop of the Niger Delta Diocese). See pictures of ceremony below:
Kudos to the team for honouring the late Bishop Ajayi Crowther. I heard it cost them milllions of Naira to erect this structure to put in the boat.
