The occupants of Nasarawa ward of YobeStatecapital on Sunday woke up to the shocking news of twin teenagers being slaughtered by yet to be identified persons.
Commissioner of Police, Egbuniwe Patrick, confirmed the incident. He added that the command is seriously suspecting members of the Boko Haram for the murder.
BURNT DOWN SCHOOL 
He told Channels Television that the oldest private school in the state-Yobe Chidren’s Academy has been burnt down to ashes.
Following the statement, The cases of night killings and burning of schools are on the increase in the state as gangs now use more of explosives than guns to perpetrate evil.
The Commissioner who wondered while the 15 years old twins were slaughtered to death said that the incident took place on a Saturday night. TheYobe Children’s Academy, according to him, was burnt down around 11’oclock that very day.
A Staff of the School confirmed that 30 classrooms were set ablaze leaving only the staff room,Library, and the Lab.
The school was established in 1992 and at that time, it was one of the best schools having good academic records with several of its product excelling both at home and away.
Killings,burning of schools and churches within the state has become very common since the launch of the insurgency by the fundamentalist sector.
Hoodlums are reported to follow their victims to their various homes or business before they attack.
