This is to inform all students of the Yaba College of Technology that with the successful postponement of the elections by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), The authorities of the Yaba College of Technology, Lagos (YABATECH) wish to inform all full-time and part-time students that the scheduled break for election has been cancelled.

The Head, Public Relations Unit of the college, Mr Charles Oni made this known.Mr Charles Oni stated that the holiday which was earlier schedule to start from February 11 and end on March 4 has been cancelled owing to the fact that the election has been postponed.

It would be recalled that the management of the Yaba College of Technology on January 31, 2015 announced that all its full-time and part-time students will proceed on a compulsory  22-day holiday to enable them to exercise their civic rights during the 2015 general elections.

According to the school management, Lectures and other school activities continue.
