The latest information reaching the desk of our team denotes that there has been a postponement of resumption date by the Yaba College Of Education (Yabatech). According to our sources, it is said that the school’s resumption dates was postponed as a result of the current Asup strike which has lasted over some months now.
According to the information received, there is no new date for resumption. Below is the official report from the school itself:
“The Academic Board at its emergency meeting of 14th February, 2014 resolved that the Resumption Date for Full-time students (2013/2014 Academic Session) be postponed indefinitely in view of the on-going nationwide strike embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP).
All full time students are advised to stay away from the college premises until further notice. This circular is without prejudice to the on-going Part time programme. Thank you.
