This is to inform all interested candidates that the Federal University of Birnin Kebbi (FUBK) Predegree Admission Form for 2014 is now out on sale. The FUBK Basic Science Program/Pre-degree/remedial programme will last for one year. By this notice, all candidates who wants to sit for the school examination, should endeavor to follow the below mentioned procedures to complete their registration for the one year programme.

If you are intending to apply for the Federal University of Birnin Kebbi Basic Science Program and one year remedial programme in arts and Humanities, please follow the below laid down procedures:

    1. Obtain APPLICATION PIN from any of the branches of UBA or FIRST BANK nation wide at the cost of N 4,000. 00.
    2. Make sure you have a personal email address before you begin the application as it is required while filling the form.
    3. Make sure you have your scanned passport photograph ready for upload. The size of the passport must not be more than 100KB of JPEG format.
    4. Click on “APPLICATION FORM” located at the top left corner of this page. The pin Confirmation page will open.
    5. Enter the pin number and form number provided to you at the bank and click on APPLY( You will not be able to apply untill you enter the detai correctly).
    6. The APPLICATION FORM will open, fill all the fields provided and click on SAVE ENTRY.
    7. On success, your application form will be dislayed, print and keep your copy.Your EMAIL and SURNAME will henthfoth be your USERNAME and PASSWORD for access to the system.
    8. If you want to re-print or edit your form, log into the system using your pin and form number; click on APPLICATION FORM to re-print your form OR click on EDIT RECORD to edit youR application form.

Federal University Birnin Admission Requirement For 1 Year Basic Science Programme

Minimum of five credit passes at SSCE, NECO, WAEC or NABTEB, three of which must be in Chemistry, Biology, Physics or Mathematics.

After successful completion of the program, the available courses at Undergraduate level are:-

    1. Applied Geophysics
    2. Pure Chemistry
    3. Industrial Chemistry
    4. Biochemistry
    5. Biology
    6. Physics with Electronics
    7. Computer Science
    8. Geology
    9. Microbiology
    10. Mathematics
    11. Statistics

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS ONE YEAR REMEDIAL PROGRAMME IN ARTS AND HUMANITIES

Interested candidates must have five O’ level credits in any of the following subjects in not more than two sittings:

English Language; Mathematics; History; Government; Economics; Arabic; Islamic Studies; Hausa; French; Financial Accounting; Commerce; and Geography. The available programmes after successful completion of the Remedial Programme are:

    7. Demography and Social Statistics
    8. History and International Studies
