5th Thursday  – Christmas break ends/Students return to Campus
9th Monday  – Lectures resume

21st Saturday – Matriculation Ceremony

23rd Monday – 29th Sunday – Convocation Ceremonies

30th Monday  – Lectures Continue
FEBRUARY 2017
17th Friday  – Lectures end
20th Monday  – Revision begins
24th Friday  – Revision ends
27th Monday  – Departmental examinations begin for returning students
MARCH 2017
3rd Friday  – Departmental examinations end
6th Monday  – Examinations inter-faculty and inter-disciplinary courses begin
20th Monday 20 – Examinations inter-faculty and inter-disciplinary courses end

27th Monday  – Registration begins for all students/ Lectures begin
28th Tuesday  – Examination begins for 1st year students

10th Monday  – Late Registration begins
13th Thursday  – Examination ends for 1st year student

12th Wednesday – 17th Monday  – Easter Break

18th Tuesday  – Lectures resume
20th Thursday  – Last day for submission of first semester results to the Department. Processing of results begins in the Department

24th Monday  – Late Registration ends
27th Thursday  – Last day for submission of first semester results to the
Registry (Examination).Processing of results begins in the Registry
MAY 2017
11th Thursday  – Deadline for checking of results by Heads of Department.
JUNE 2017 

23rd Friday  – Lectures end
26th Monday  – Revision begins
30th Friday  – Revision ends
JULY 2017
3rd Monday  – Departmental examinations begin
7th Friday  – Departmental examinations end
10th Monday  – Examinations inter-faculty and inter-disciplinary courses begin

24th Monday  – Examinations inter-faculty and inter-disciplinary courses end

14th Monday  – Last day for submission of second semester results to the Department. Processing of results begins in the Department

25th Friday  – Last day for submission of first semester results to the Registry (Examination).  Processing of results begins in the Registry
SEPTEMBER 2017
18th Thursday  – Deadline for checking of results by Heads of Department.
25th Monday – 29th Friday  – Faculty Boards Meet to consider and approve final year students results
OCTOBER 2017
25th October  – Senate meets to consider and approve final year results
