With the latest information gotten from Channelstv about the Olabisi Onabanjo University, OOU, i really doubt if the student and the Government will come to an amicable agreement. According to one of the student who spoke on channelstv, he blames some official of the Government sending thugs to beat students up.
The Commissioner of Education of the state however did not totally agree with his statement and urge the student. According the commissioner, the state Government has spent millions of naira for the treatment of injured persons as a result of the protest.
He advised student to halt any form of violent protest in other to avoid further injuries or casualties.
