IBB News: Ibrahim Badamosi University, Lapai, Niger State (IBBU) has gotten approval for 14 of its academic programmes from National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved 14 academic programmes.

This was disclosed by the Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Muhammad Maiturare, during a courtesy call on Gov. Abubakar Bello of Niger .

According to the VC, 11 program mes got full accreditation while 3 others got interim accreditation.

The courses that got full accreditation include Business Administration, Agriculture, French, History and International Studies, Agric Education, Biology Education, Geography Education, Mathematics Education, Guardian and Counselling, Food Science and Geology.

While Chemistry Education, Computer Science Education and Physics Education got interim accreditation.

He further stated that this achievement is a result of immense contribution of the state Government to the needs of the institution.
