The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has scrapped all Engineering courses at the Federal Polytechnic Idah. The Board took this action citing lack of adequate practical training for the students in the programme.
As a result of this latest development, there will be no admission into the Engineering programmes of the polytechnic for the 2015/2016 session and it likely might extend beyond this period if the management of the school takes no action on the issue.
Prospective candidates are therefore informed not to apply until the Polytechnic has been cleared of its pressing issue.
The management of the polytechnic have yet to comment on this matter.
