PRESIDENT Goodluck Jonathan  today in Abuja, bestow various national awards on 149 eminent Nigerians cutting across sectors such as business, politics, judiciary and the civil service.

The surprising part of the saga was when a civil servant was given a national award by the Nigerian President, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan for his reputable action taken.

One may ask, how can a civil servant that receives a monthly allowance of N62,000 get recognized by a large nation such as Nigeria.

Yea. I got an answer to that question of yours. The Civil servant was said to have returned up to 6.4 million naira worth of money that was mistakenly deposited into his account as his stipulated pension.

According to the AIT reporter, i was made to understand that 6.4million naira was deposited into the pensioners account wrongly as his pension which he returned back to the Federal Government of Nigeria without hesitation.

Beside him receiving an award, he was also given a sum of 5 million naira as part of the gifts that was  given to the awardees.

Can you imagine that? i have always known that Nigerians are great people with good conscience.
