Yesterday we received a call from a student of the Kogi State University (KSU) regarding the school going on strike in less than twenty four hours. According to the student, Lecturers of the Kogi State University have not been turning up for classes for some days now and this is said to be affecting her.
Today the confirmation was made and truly, the Kogi State University has officially gone on strike.All lectures and academic activities have been brought to a stand still until the State Government meets the demand of the lecturers.
We hope this issue is resolved quickly and amicably between the both parties involved.
