The 2017 UTME board may have just introduced a more rigid policy as candidates caught in exam malpractice via CCTV cameras had 100 marks deducted from the scores.

Following the recent issue with the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) exam, it seems that candidates that were involved in malpractice were penalized. According to the feedback on the various results from some affected candidates, one hundred marks (100) was deducted from candidates that were involved in examination malpractice. This might just be another new way the board has implemented to curb malpractice.

Candidates who were seen via CCTC cameras in the CBT hall were affected by this implementation.Just like i have always said, it is better you build up and prepare for the UTME examination than to be affected negatively like this.

Were you affected by this deduction by JAMB? Let me hear your own part of the story via the comment box below.
