The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) said awaiting results candidates can still register for this year UTME.
This information was disclosed by JAMB in their official twitter handle prior to publications made that candidates with awaiting results would not be admitted into any institution.
The Board stated that; “JAMB has NOT scrapped awaiting result for prospective candidates for the forthcoming exam.”
“Candidates will not be denied the right to quality education. Awaiting results candidates can still apply for 2017 UTME. But they must have gotten their results at this point of admission into their institution”
“That is why those with results will be uploading their results, while awaiting result candidates will not upload anything during the registration.”
Therefore, prospective candidates that wish to apply for 2017 UTME with awaiting results should still register for the exams. But your result must be available while you go for admission screening.
