Ibadan Polytechnic, on Wednesday, officially ushered in about 6,000 fresh students during the 2014/2015 academic session matriculation ceremony that took place within the polytechnic campus.

Speaking at the event, the Rector, Professor Olatunde Fawole, congratulated the successful students and warned them against taking part in any anti-social activity.

He advised the newly matriculated students to ‎spend their time wisely to enable them come out with good grades and stated that the institution will not compromise its hard earned image for any damaging misconduct by any student.

The rector also warned the students against indecent dressing, especially from females.

Fawole added that the management of the institution will continue to maintain an environment conducive to student learning and growth.
