Information gathered denotes that a teenage kid stabbed her Uncle to death on Wednesday because he shut down her internet to stop her from staying online late into the night.
The 19-year-old Taiwan kid, Lin by name, has been taken into custody in Miaoli County
She was said to have stabbed her Uncle in the stomach with a Knife.
Following the information gotten, it was made clear that the teen was connecting to the internet around 2am when her Uncle shut down the power supply.
There was an argument between Lin and the Uncle which resulted to the killing of the Uncle.
The 37 years old uncle whose name was not disclosed died in a local hospital while receiving treatment.
According to Lin’s grandmother, the uncle was quick tempered, and would always shut down the power in the house occasionally while Lin was browsing the web because he was annoyed that she stays up so late.
The representative from Miaoli’s prosecutors’ office declined to comment on the case, but made it clear that a murder conviction in Taiwan carries a penalty ranging from 10
years in prison to a death sentence.
