It is quite unfortunate that the Governor of Taraba, Danbaba Suntai, was involved in a Plane crash along side with his security operatives. But that is not the main bone of contention now. The question that crosses my mind each minute of the day was that he has been flown to Germany to receive treatment. Please do note his present location presently now, which is “Germany.”
What tinkles my fancy is the fact that the Governor was not taken to any Hospital in Taraba State or in Nigeria to receive further treatment but he was fled to Germany. Don’t you think he should be treated in his state or country? Yes. For the fact that these politicians promise to improve the standard of our health facilities which they claim to have fulfilled in their tenure, still, they do not believe in what they have created. How? If the Governor has done well in the medical sector of his state, he should not have been flown to Germany for treatment,instead, he should be receiving treatment in his state. And if the Government had done well in the State and Federal Level medical facility, do you think the first Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, should travel abroad to receive treatment? These are the questions we need to ask ourselves daily.
Sometimes, when i see these things happen, i just wish for the mercy of our creator upon our lives. Daily, we get robbed, cheated and threatened in our businesses and these culprits are left to go home free. Are we trying to say that our nation is in a state of Anarchy? No! No! No. We get to receive victims of Bomb blast almost every day in our nation and nothing can be done to prevent these events from occurring. Instead of taking action, our soul called leaders speak lots of Grammar concerning the incident and that case is over. Take a look at the brutal killing of the uniport students, what does that imply to you and i, it means that Nigeria is insecure and the Lives and property of peasant citizens is really at stake.
Well, i don’t wish my Nation bad, but i know we can be great leaders and improve our country. If you are a Leader, and you are reading this article, make judicious use of your office and save this nation from falling into the depth of the nation.
