Flooding in Nigeria has really caused so much negative impact in the Lives of the affected citizens. As a result of this incident, several persons were rendered homeless, cashless and maybe, hopeless. It is really very sad with what is happening in our nation today. I guess this year’s flooding is really the first of its kind that have affected several persons spread across the corners of the nation.

The Federal Government has tried her best to help some of the affected victims get back to their feet and have a normal life again. But all efforts will be more meaningful if it is strongly powered by all other Nigerians. Today, I watched a little documentary about the recent flooding in most of the affected States, and all I could feel for the affected victims was pity. It is so unfortunate that this kind of tragedy be felled Nigeria at this period when bomb blast is at its climax.

Well, Life is more than what we see. My main purpose of drawing our attention to this particular issue is to remind we Nigerians that our support is needed at the Federal, State and Local level. You do not need to sit calm and watch the Lives of our fellow citizens’ wash down the drain. It will do us good to render our support in any way we can to these flood victims. The footage I saw on AIT minutes ago really touched my heart. It shows clearly how people affected by this natural disaster are seriously suffering. Most victims pass the night in open market places and all other public places that are not suitable for such purpose. I believe we are all good people and we love to help our fellow Nigerians, and that is why, no matter how little you have in your pocket, I advised you to support the Federal Government as they battle this serious natural menace that has befallen this part of our nation.
