The management of Federal University of Technology (FUT) Minna, Niger, has approved the promotion of four academic staff of the university to associate professors.
This is contained in a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Minna.
It said that the promotion was approved by the governing council of the university at its 13th meeting.
It stated that three of the appointments are with effect from Oct. 1, 2014, while one is from Feb. 2.
“The following are the names of promoted academic staff to associate professors.
“They include Prof. Theophilus Tsado, Department of Civil Engineering, and Prof. Okwori Ogbanje of the Department of Industrial Technology Education.
“Others are Prof. Dantani Wushishi, Department of Science Education, and that Prof. Ojekunle Ademola, Department of Transport Management Technology, which take effect from February 2015,” the statement read in part. (NAN)
