The Federal College of Education Technical(FCE) Potiskum, Yobe State has matriculated 1,633 students.

The school authority urged them to abide by the rules and regulations governing the conduct of students. The matriculated students are from five schools that include, 213 from School of Business Education, 620 from Science Education, 255 from Education, 206 from Technical Education and 339 from Vocational Education.

Provost of the college, Modu Muhammad made the call in an address at  the occasion saying that punitive measures would be applied on any student that engaged in social vices.

The provost who was represented by his deputy, Mrs Esther Ojili advised the students to desist from immoral acts like cultism, drugs abuse, absenteeism, exams cheating, indecent dressing and other nefarious activities.

According to him,  “The 27th matriculation ceremony of the college is delayed by five years due to activities of Boko haram insurgents in the town. This signified that peace has fully returned.”
