The federal Polytechnic Ado-ekiti has stated that it will only admit 2000 put of the 7000 candidates that participated in the 2015/2016 post-UTME Screening exercise.
This was made known by the Rector of the institution, Dr Theresa Akande.
According to her, in view of the allotted carrying capacity of the institution by the National Board for Technical Education, NBTE, the polytechnic could only admit about 2,000 for National Diploma, ND.
Commenting on the post-UTME screening exercise that held last week 5th-9th October, the institution’s DirecÂtor of Academic Planning, Mr. Gbenga Owolabi said that the exercise was hitch-free as expected.
