The Ekiti State Government has proven to all students that education should be their priority and the barricade of high cost of tuition fees should never be the problem as to getting possible education for them. Last week, the Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose slashed the price of Ekiti State University school fees from N50,000 to N30,000.
Alot of students have reacted positively to this and are very much happy by this singular development by the Government.The Governor further said that the payment of the new school fees of N30,000 can be paid installmentally but must not exceed twice. That is,
if you are a student and you wish to make your payment but don’t have the complete fee, you can pay the amount you have on the first instance, and later on complete the payment on the second instance.
“Fayose, who gave the order while featuring on a radio/television programme: “Meet your governor,” on Saturday, said his administration would also ensure an enabling atmosphere for teaching and learning in all state-owned institutions in the state.”
This will go along way to encourage education among the students in Ekiti State University
