Bomb blast rocks northern Nigeria killing a 10 year old boy and wounded 10 others yesterday in an area repeatedly targeted by a radical Islamist group.

It was said that the explosion started around 6:30pm in Bauchi city’s in Tundunwadan Dan-iya area, a neighbourhood best known for its cluster of bars and other entertainment spots.
 There was an explosion from a locally made explosive device hidden in a wheelbarrow which killed a 10 years old boy leaving 10 persons injured said the PoliceCommissionerofBauchiState.
The wheelbarrow was said to be abandoned by an unidentified man who disguised himself as a grocery vendor at a beer garden in the area.
Arrest has not been made since it is still not clear who the perpetrator of this act is.
