Its been a year and few months since we rounded up a Remedial Program which commenced in April 2015 and ended December 2015 which was organised by the Federal Polytechnic Of Oil and Gas Bonny under the Supervision of the School of Foundational Studies, with a primary view of starting a full academic session of ND/ HND programs.
I will also recall that, The National Board For Technical Education ( NBTE) visited the institution on the 10th of August 2016 and part of the purpose of this visit is to facilitate the immediate kick off of the academic activity of the school.The visit by the board was targeted in gaining approval for the school to start up her National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes.
Since then, No News, No tangible updates concerning the status of the school. Will the KINGDOM sit and allow this Institution in our Land become Dormant?
This is 2017, we need this Institution to kick start is long over due, so that our Youths will be engage academically.
Hence, am calling on all Shakeholders to rise up and ensure something is done for the immediate kick off of ND programs in this Institution.
