Be informed that the 2013 Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Post UTME screening exercise will be starting from the 1st – 6th of July 2013.The screening holds from Monday and will be on till Friday of that same week. Candidates who by any means have the school among their first choice list are advised to begin preparation towards the D-Day. In addition to that, candidates are to be aware that the university would be indulging in the computer Base Test examination method (CBT). First choice candidates will be made to write on a CBT examination method.
Affected candidates are hereby advised to get themselves acquainted with the use of computer and the navigation of mouse to avoid any problem of inability to use the computer when the exam kicks off. For the requirements for screening, only candidates whose UTME score is 180 and above are allowed for courses related to science while the UTME score of 190 and above are for arts, social sciences, law and administration with a requirement of at least five credit passes in their O’Level results at not more than two sittings. Do make sure that subjects and courses chosen during the Jamb examination is according to the brochure.
Registration for the screening exercise has already commenced and will be ending on the 30th of June, 2013. Applicants will be required to pay a sum of N1, 000 (Excluding bank charges). Candidates will be expected to get their e-transact Pin from any commercial bank and after which, head to the registration portal at forms.abu.edu.ng which you will be requested to complete the online registration at the bolded link. The printout with affixed Passport Photograph and a printout of the UTME result MUST be submitted on the day of the screening. Candidates MUST keep photocopies of all submissions for their own records. Candidates are expected to be at the screening venues at least an hour before the beginning of the screening. The use of mobile phones and other gadgets during examination is strictly forbidden.
