Six secondary school students will benefit from a new scholarship fund pioneered by Success Within International, SWI, to provide school fees and text books throughout their secondary school careers.

President of SWI, Mr. Adebayo Ajayi speaking on the rationale behind the scholarship said: “Education is the bedrock of any nation. A child well educated is proportional to the development of a nation. Education plays a critical role in long-term productivity and growth at both micro and macro levels.

This explains why more attention needs to be given to the position of education in our own dear country. The scholarship scheme’s aim is to enhance the quality of efficiency of students in schools. This is the first of its kind for usas an organization and we are starting with two schools, the scholarship would be awarded to 3 SS1 students and 3 JSS1 students in each school.”

An examination which comprises of Mathematics, English, Current Affairs, Leadership prowess and Abstract would be conducted for all the students in Jss1 and ss1 student in each of the school by the end of June 2015. And the 3 best students in each of the segment would be awarded the scheme towards next session 2015/2016.

“We strongly believe that by giving students this kind of opportunity, it will foster diligence and eagerness to succeed in all their endeavours,” Ajayi added.
