How to Register for WAEC GCE Exam online successfully without any problems – Easy steps.

This is to inform candidates interested in sitting for the exam that WAEC GCE November/December 2017 registration form is out on sale and registration will start on Friday, 28th April, 2017.

How to Register for WAEC GCE 2017

Candidates are encouraged to follow these set instructions and guidelines to enable a hitch-free online registration.

→ Please ensure you have captured your biometric fingerprints, scanned your passport and captured other personal details before you continue registration.

→ After obtaining the registration PIN, candidates should log on to www.waeconline.org.ng for registration.

→ Candidates should note that registration has been designed to accommodate for biometric features that will be used for validations at the exam centres.

→ Candidates must conclude their registration within 2 weeks of first access to the website during the registration period.

→ Candidates should ensure that their names, gender, passport photograph, date of birth and subjects are correct.

→ Candidates should also to print the admission notice/photo card as evidence of successful registration. This will serve as their photo card during examination.

The result checker PIN will also be on the photo card. Only Digital Personal Scanner should be used for fingerprint registration.

Walk-in Candidates

Candidates who wish to register for WAEC GCE after close of entries can be accommodated as walk-in candidates provided they register not less than 24 hours before the scheduled time of the paper(s) they intend to write. The walk-in-candidates’ fee is Twenty Five Thousand Naira (N25,000) only.

Method Of Payment

Candidates who register for WAEC November/December exams within the normal registration period are expected to pay a sum of Thirteen Thousand, Nine Hundred and Fifty Naira only (N13,950) at branches of any of the following banks or any of the accredited agents and obtain the registration PIN and information VCD.

Candidates with Disabilities and Impairments

Candidates with disabilities/impairments will also register online like other candidates but they must clearly state their disabilities/impairments, e.g. blind, low vision, spastic, speech, etc.

Registration Closing Date

The closing date for WAEC GCE registration for 2017 November/December is Friday, 28th July, 2017.
Prospective candidates are hereby advised to complete their registration before this date.
