The Vice Chancellor of the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) Prof. Benjamin Ozumba during 46th Convocation Ceremony of the University disclosed that 94 graduands where awarded first class honour out of the total sum of 10,425 graduating students.
Prof. Benjamin Ozumba announced that the University awarded 10, 494 first degree and diploma certificates to deserving young men and women who had been found worthy in character and in learning, Breakdown of the figure according to class of the degrees and certificates include:
- First Class Honours 94
- Second Class Honours (Upper Division) 3,098
- Second Class Honours (Lower Division) 5,145
- Third Class Honours 1,653
- Diploma 93
- University Certificate 314
He further urged the new graduates to be good ambassadors of the university wherever they find themselves.
