The just concluded Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has received a warm welcome nationwide as it was rated above average for candidates who sat for the Computer Based Test (CBT) 2015 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations. However, only about 1.2 million candidates have received their results.

The Registrar of JAMB Prof. Dibu Ojerinde said on Thursday in Abuja during the inspection of proceedings of exams at designated centres that only about 895, 000 results have been released which does not equals the amount of results collected because some candidates who are yet to get their results may have given JAMB wrong phone numbers.

After that submission by Prof. Dibu Ojerinde, we calculate that only about 305, 000 candidates would have checked their result within the space of Friday and Saturday night. Hence, about 1.2 million candidates would have checked their results in total.

Other reasons why some candidates are yet to get their results could be:
1. Examination Malpractice
2. Failure To Submit
3. Network Issue
4. Personal disposition

“The results are already on the net (website) for every everyone to access. Candidates should use their registration number and log on to the JAMB website and get the result, but the results that are not ready cannot be joined with the available ones,” Ojerinde said.
