The recently released cut off marks of the different universities in Nigeria was posted on this site few days ago. For those students who have been asking for the university of Port Harcourt (Uniport cut off marks for the year 2013/2014, a suitable post has been posted for prospective students to to know the minimum requirement of the institution before they could be considered for admission into any degree programme offered by the institution.

UNIPORT Admission through Direct Entry Requirements(200 Level)
— Candidate must possess a minimum of credit passes in five (5) subjects including English Language at SSCE, GCE O’Level or equivalent qualification at not more than two sittings.
—candidates Must possess an HND, OND or NCE in the relevant programme to be undertaken in UNIPORT.
–An acceptable score is prescribed for admission at the Direct Entry Screening Exercise.
–Final selection is a combination of candidate’s certificates and the direct entry screening result.
For Uniport Requirement for Admission Through Jamb For 100 Level Students
—Minimum of Credit passes in Five (5) subjects including English Language at the SSCE, GCE O’Level and any other equivalent examinations at not more than two sittings.
–UTME score of at least 200 and above for Dentistry, Pharmacy, Engineering (except Civil & Environmental Engineering), Management Sciences, Medicine, Nursing and Social Sciences; 180 and above for others.
–Post-UTME screening score of not less than 40% (Subject to Change).
–Candidates must make UNIPORT as their 1st and/or Second choice to qualify to write the Post-UTME Screening Test.
—Candidates who score less than 40% at the Post-UTME screening test are not eligible for admission into any programme in UNIPORT irrespective of any higher scores obtained at the UTME.
