Just to inform all interested persons that the Nigerian Agip company limited (NAOC) which is aimed at community development programmes, is hereby welcoming suitable application from interested candidates for the 2013/2014  NNPC/AGIP university institutions scholarship awards scheme.

The award is in two categories: these two categories are spelt out to be: A National Merit Award which is from candidates from non-host communities. For the second, we have the Host Communities Merit Award which is strictly for those candidates or applicants from Nigerian Agip Oil company host communities.

The scholarship process has been said to have gained a deep root in and around the sector of education which is always bringing the warmth of an educative friendly environment to the nation.

Just before you make an attempt to apply for the NNPC/AGIP scholarship award, please do make out time to read the following requirements needed from applicants:

REQUIREMENT FOR APPLICATION OF SCHOLARSHIP FOR NNPC/AGIP

  1. Applicants should be an endorsed or registered level 100 student of any institution as at the time of registration.
  2. Applicants must be a Full time undergraduate in any Nigerian university.
  3. Application from level 200 students from any institution will not be accepted (applicants must meet up number 1 policy).
  4. Current beneficiaries of same award from other industry, companies or agencies should not apply.
  5. Dependant of employees of AENR, NAOC,NAE should not apply.

If you meet up the above mentioned requirements, then you are just one step to complete your application process.

In continuation to that, please note that only candidates studying Engineering, Geology and Geosciences are eligible for the National Merit Award while for the NAOC host communities, only indigenes of Bayelsa, Delta, Imo and Rivers states should apply.

To apply for the scholarship, you will have to complete the 2013 AGIP/NNPC Scholarship online Application Form on their website and verify their details on or before the 17th day of February 2013.Applicants are also expected to attach the following letters correctly signed by:

  1. Their traditional ruler of their community,
  2. The current Chairman and secretary of their CDC
  3. And the incumbent LGA Chairman or the secretary of their local Government area.

Some selected areas have been arranged for the aptitude test date, which are: Abuja, Omoku, Yenegoa, Asaba, Lagos, Owerri, and Port Harcourt.
