Well!!! Alot of you will be wondering what next after the recently triggered Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) strike that was declared HERE. Getting the full list of Universities that would be affected by the strike is more like asking if all Nigerian Universities will be affected.

Following past experiences, it is very much obvious that 95% of both Federal and State Owned Universities may be affected by this STRIKE if not averted quickly.Activities in Polytechnics will still continue since they are associated with ASUP and not ASUU. You will also recall that the Senoir lecturers (SSANU) have also joined NLC in this 2016 Strike HERE.

Loadedvilla.com got you covered on this so there is No point getting worried.This things actually reoccur in Nigeria,On 1 July 2013, ASUU embarked on a strike which lasted 5 months and 15 days and was called off on 16 December 2013.Claims made by ASUU in regards to the strike are centered largely on funding and revitalization of Nigerian public universities as well as a certain earned allowance which it claims to be in an arrears of 92 billion naira. Some Nigerian students said that the strike was a curse to them while others said it was a blessing before the ASUU strike was called.
