Job Description

• Turing.com is looking to hire a Back-end Engineer on behalf of an early-stage, AI research company building human-level general machine intelligence.
• The engineer will be responsible for various project tasks, including infrastructure, visualizations, open-source projects, and building the research tool.

Job Responsibilities

• Work on a wide variety of tasks ranging from infrastructure and code clean up to open source and machine learning.
• Build high-quality software while following software engineering best practices.
• Provide support as needed, in the quickest and most stable manner possible.
• Adhere to work intake, prioritization, change management, architecture.
• Contribute to developing robust and well-engineered systems.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
• Only candidates with 3+ years of experience are eligible for this role.
• Proficient with Python and PyTorch.
• Fluency in English.
• Proficiency in software development tools and techniques that adhere to best practices.
• Exhibit strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively plan, schedule, and meet deadlines on time.
