Job Title: Junior Accountant (Corps Member)

Job Summary

• As our Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting senior accountants in financial reporting and analysis.
• The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, have strong organizational skills, and be comfortable working with accounting software in the financial services industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports, and verifying and reconciling bank and cash book statements.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and record daily transactions, assist in accounts payable and receivable processing, and assist in tax filings and statutory financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with organizational financial guidelines and industry regulations and support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of accounting work experience (internships included).
• A professional accounting qualification (ACA or ACCA) is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).

Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 Monthly. (Net)
