Job Description

• The Senior IT Officer will be responsible for managing the organization’s IT infrastructure and ensuring optimal performance of all technology systems.
• This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will work closely with various departments to align technology solutions with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the IT department, including hardware, software, and network management.
• Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure security and efficiency.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime.
• Manage IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand technology needs and recommend solutions.
• Provide technical support and training to staff on IT systems and tools.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on the organization.
• Prepare and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT management or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems.
• Proficient in system administration for various operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux).
• Experience with cloud services and virtualization technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Salary
N400,000 – N500,000 / month.
