Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• A Business Decelopment Executive is responsible for building the business by identifying new business prospects and selling product to them.
• You must maintain relationships with current patients and build and maintain relationships with new patients.
• You will also need to stay ahead of our competition and work on sharpening and improving your skills by attending classes, seminars or workshops relating to eye care.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed communicated monthly target.
• Research and recommend prospects for new business opportunities
• Research and analyse sales options
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects
• Stay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements or recommend new products
• Collect and analyse information and prepare data and sales reports
• Attend workshops to learn more technical and professional skills for the job
• Build and maintain professional networks
• Meet with potential clients to determine their needs
• Contacting potential and existing customers on the phone, by email, and in person.
• Handling customer questions, inquiries, and complaints.
• Preparing and sending quotes and proposals.
• Managing the sales process through specific software programs.
• Up-sell and cross-sell our services.
• Building and maintaining a CRM database.
• Attend educational events and seminars to boost sales
• Send daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Must have a Minimum of 2nd Class Lower or Lower Credit.
• Five (5) years of experience or morein a similar roles is an added advantage.
• Must be proficient in English (oral and written).
• Candidate must have completed NYSC.
• Must have excellent knowledge of the use of Microsoft Office Packages (Excel and Word).
• Excellent phone etiquette and ability to multi-task.
• Calm and efficient in all situations.
• Welcoming, friendly and helpful.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision.
• Must be intelligent, smart, creative, good communicator and administratively efficient.
• Ability to pay attention to details.
• Knowledge of Eye Clinic functionality is an advantage.
• A Bi-lingual skill is an advantage.
