Job Description

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to menu plans and dietary requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of all food and kitchen supplies.
• Plan and manage weekly meal schedules and ingredient lists.
• Monitor food quality during preparation and service.
• Manage kitchen inventory and ensure timely replenishment of supplies.
• Adhere to food safety standards and regulations.
• Train and supervise kitchen assistants (if applicable).
• Prepare meals for special occasions and events as needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years proven experience as a cook in a professional setting, such as a restaurant or catering service.
• Knowledge of diverse cuisines and cooking techniques.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and adapt to dietary preferences.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Creativity and the ability to design appealing meal presentations.
