Summary

• We are currently looking for an Executive Assistant, reporting directly to our CEO, to help us grow and accelerate our impact. This would be a completely in office position as we continue to follow COVID-19 guidelines.

Description

• The successful candidate will be able to multitask and prioritize incoming requests without requiring close supervision.
• A typical day includes administrative duties such as managing calendars and conference rooms, scheduling meetings, processing expense reports, carrying out daily miscellaneous tasks etc.
• But responsibilities also include working on projects that can span the entire organization.
• You will be working directly with Qefas director, on a regular basis and onboarding and training new admins.
• You’ll also help recruit candidates and interview when hiring new Admins.
• This job has a lot of range in the work and in the level of people you will interact with; you’ll need to be sensitive to information requiring discretion. It’s exciting, fun, and you will learn a lot about a lot!

Education & Experience

• BA / B.Sc Degree plus 4-6 years of experience but will consider equivalent/alternative backgrounds.

• Strong computer skills, social media savvy
• Working autonomously and handling sensitive and confidential information.
• Writing and talking to people with professionalism; you will be representing Qefas leadership at all times.
• Meeting deadlines and making well-informed decisions.
• Anticipating needs and reacting with the best interest of the team and Qefas.
• Organization, attention to detail, and handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment.
• Building relationships cross-functionally.
• Having a “can-do” demeanor – no task is too big or too small!
• Balancing the needs of individuals and the business when they conflict.
• Influencing others and handling conflict; includes knowing when to delegate issues upward and when to apply common sense.
• Remaining calm and keeping a sense of humor.
• Past experience in a hyper-growth company
• Must be located in or willing to relocate to Lagos/Ipaja area
