Job Title: Senior Software Developer (Full Stack)

Location: Lagos

Job Descriptions

• Develop and administer new software products as will be communicated through the business development unit, using technologies such as AWS, Python, Ansible, Kubernetes, etc.
• Responsible for the development of front and back-end web-based software.
• Design the overall architecture of software products.
• Develop and support the developer experience, driving efficiencies in all parts of the software development life cycle
• Contribute to our technical roadmap as we scale our services, build new infrastructure, and maintain the standards of security, reliability, performance, and quality
• Participate in code reviews, attend regular team meetings, and apply software development best practices
• Take ownership of your work and work autonomously when necessary
• Maintain code integrity and organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• Experience: 2-3 years
• Proficient in Ruby, Java, andJavascript, UI frameworks like React, Ember, Angular, etc.
• Experience working with MySQL and NoSQL Databases
• Experience developing and administering large-scale cloud-based (Linux) systems and environments, using technologies such as configuration management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt, Terraform), Public Clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP), programming languages (Go, Python, Scala, Java, PHP) and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Understanding and implementation of software architecture, security, and data protection
• Highly experienced with front-end and back-end programming languages
• Development experience for both mobile and desktop
• Experience with cloud message, APIs, and usage of push notifications.
• Can move seamlessly between front-end, back-end, middle-end… any “end” really
