Job Title: Health and Safety Officer
Location: Issele Azagba, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Designing and formulation of the company’s HSE policy and framework
- Perform daily Walkabout Safety inspections and identity hazards
- Check and report daily PPE compliance throughout the site
- Conduct and coordinate sectional toolbox meetings
- Assist In implementing SHEC procedures e.g. stop work, permit to work, etc.
- Assist in incident/near-miss investigations
- Conduct weekly scheduled sectional safety inspections
- Conduct weekly safety interactions with workers using the safety interaction checklist
- Inspect fire extinguishers to ensure good conditions.
- Perform SHEC inductions for new joining employees
- Represent the company in all HSE-related matters
- Perform any other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree.
- 1 – 3 years of work experience.
Salary
- N70,000 – N100,000 monthly.
