Job Outline

• To be responsible for managing and coordinating the company’s fleet operations, ensuring efficient and safe transportation of equipment, materials, and personnel. This role involves scheduling, maintenance, compliance, and cost control.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Management of Fleet, Pool, and Stop-Gap vehicles.
• Coordinate vehicle/equipment allocation and scheduling.
• Monitor fleet utilization, optimize routes, and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (licensing, insurance, permits).
• Schedule routine maintenance and repairs.
• Coordinate and work with all the vendors for better performance of all the company vehicles.
• Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures.
• Provide service website monitoring and Evaluation.
• Ensure drivers’ training and compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate driver schedules, training, and certifications.
• Monitor driver performance, hours of service, and compliance.
• Monitor fuel consumption, mileage, and other expenses.
• Analyze and optimize fleet-related costs.
• Maintain accurate records (fleet database, maintenance logs)
• Generate reports (utilization, maintenance, costs)
• Ensure smooth collaboration with other departments (operations, procurement)

Requirements

• Education: HND / Degree in relevant field, such as Social Sciences or Engineering.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a fleet management role.
