Systems and Network Administrator at a General and Special Risk Insurance Company Full Time

We are a major player in the General and Special Risk Insurance underwriting business in Nigeria. We maintain leadership role in key transactions in Aviation, Oil & Gas, Marine Cargo and Hull Business as well as in Motor insurance business.

Job Title: Systems and Network Administrator

Location: Nigeria

Job Objective

• To ensure the company’s systems and networks are continually enhanced and available to support the organisation’s business and effectively monitor and manage the IT infrastructure, its usability, and enhancements in supporting business operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the management, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, virtualisation, LAN/WAN infrastructure and Datacentre both local and cloud base.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT / Computer Science, Numerate science, or related field.
• 3+ years’ experience in administering servers, networks, and cloud infrastructure
• Technical expertise in the Configuration and Management of Network and Security Appliances such as Cisco ISR Routers, Cisco Switches, and Sophos XG Firewalls.
• Practical Experience working with Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GloboTech etc.)
• Experience working with major operating systems such as Windows (Servers & Clients), Linux etc.
• Extensive Knowledge of Datacentres Management techniques with a good understanding of BCP and Disaster recovery
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
