Operate and adjust a boiler in the steam generating plant, maintaining maximum boiler efficiency by adjusting and interpreting gauges, indicators and steam flow meters.
Operation of steam turbine to generate power
Maintain various records and reports in boiler log
Make regular checks of plant equipment and make adjustments, repairs, and service equipment as required
Ensure compliance with Health and safety procedures
Maintain heating systems such as low-pressure boilers, high-pressure boilers and biomass boilers.
Must ensure a safe and environmentally friendly operation of boiler systems.
Qualifications
Applicant must possess Mechanical Engineering Technician Part II with a minimum of three (3) years post qualification experience.
Preferably residence of Edo state.
