Job Title: Accounts Payable Controller

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• The role is responsible for managing and improving all Accounts Payable processes and implementing new ideas to ensure robust internal control.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring suppliers and expenses are paid in a timely and accurate manor and reviewing and improving processes and procedures
• Monthly account and balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparation of KPI analysis
• Near term cash projection
• Management of accounting for foreign imports with the procurement team
• Development of relationships with suppliers

Person Specification

• Qualified Accountant
• Experience managing an AP function in a listed organization/MNC
• Experience in consumer goods
• Experienced user of ERP
• Strong excel skills
• Team player and strong communication skills
• Experience with accounting for foreign currency transaction
