In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the skilled mechanics and workers for the repair and maintenance.
Job Responsibilities
Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspection and diagnostic tests, identifying worn and damaged parts.
Ensure all logbooks, requistion books and departmental records are effectively maintained to enable stock control, parts reservations and all other workshop functions operate effectively.
Schedule, allocate and supervise assigned responsibilities daily to technicians/mechanics.
Ensure maximum performance of technicians.
Investigate mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems associated with engine and transmission.
Inspect and verify dimensions and clearances of spare parts to ensure conformance to factory specification.
