Description

• The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and systems, ensuring the efficient operation, while prioritizing safety, quality, and productivity, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize terminal performance.

Responsibilities 

• Develop and implement maintenance schedules.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues
• Ensure smooth operation of mechanical equipment and systems.
• Oversee installation, commissioning and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections and condition monitoring.
• Source spare parts and materials
• Plan and execute repairs, overhauls and replacement of mechanical equipment
• Conduct risk assessments and hazard analysis.
• Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance
• Ensuring quality standards for maintenance and repair
• Assist in planning and executing of mechanical related projects.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors
• Supervise and train mechanical technicians and assistants
• Assign tasks and monitor progress
• Maintain good records of maintenance repairs and inspections
• Give explicit report on equipment performance and downtime

Requirements

• B.Eng. Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• High sense of focus to stick with operations objectives and goals.

• Strong skills in time management, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
