Job Summary

• We are looking for a skilled Medical Secretary to manage administrative tasks, provide support to medical staff and patients, and ensure efficient office operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments and manage cancellations/rescheduling
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding appointments, treatments, and instructions
• Maintain and update patient electronic health records (EHRs)
• Ensure confidentiality and security of patient information (HIPAA compliance)
• Prepare and manage documents (medical histories, discharge summaries, etc.)
• Develop effective working relationships with the medical team
• Promote quality and cost-effective interventions and outcomes
• Assist with billing, invoicing, and payment processing
• Ensure the office environment is organized and runs smoothly

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related Healthcare field.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Medical Secretary or similar administrative role
• Experience working with EHRs, databases, and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of medical coding, medical office procedures, regulations, and medical terminology
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.

Salary
N130,000 monthly.
