Bargs Cafe – Located in the neighborhood areas of Lekki, steps away from the Mosque and right across the street from the water channel, BARGS is a new bakery, cafe and patisserie in a quiet area with a perfect blend of great pastries and casual drinks.

We are seeking competent, self motivated, hardworking and result driven professional to fill the position below:

Job Title: Baker

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• We are looking for a Baker to prepare different types of bread and a wide range of pastries, like cookies, cakes and pies.
• Baker responsibilities will include opening the bakery early in the morning, mixing dough, preparing fillings and glazing pastries.

Responsibilities
Applicant’s duties will include but not limited to:

• Ensure profitability by maintaining an accurate record of baking operations.
• Manage needed supplies and inventory levels.
• Direct and supervise the production staff’s activities to make sure that products are up to standards.
• Decorate baked products using glaze, icing and other toppings to achieve a finished appearance.
• Assess the quality of raw materials before baking.
• Conduct research to develop original recipes for products.
• Ensure the proper storage of baking utensils.

Background Requirements

• Minimum of OND qualification.
• Good experience in a structured confectionery industry.
• Applicant must be resident in Victoria Island / Lekki axis.

Skills Required:

• Great Communication Skills (oral and written).
• Must be Articulate and Organized.
• Must be Analytical and a Good Planner.

Salary
N45,000 – N50,000 Monthly.
