Job Summary

• As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for producing design work across our products. You will be working closely with Designers, Product Managers and our Engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of products and features from the ideation stage to post-launch
• Design user flows, interactions, and experiences that are simple, elegant, intuitive, and consistent across web and mobile platforms
• Run user research and user testing to evaluate the current product and user needs
• Work directly with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to effectively launch new features
• Constantly audit, analyze, and iterate — leveraging quantitative as well as qualitative metrics.
• Take a data-driven approach to design growth experiments, while maintaining a relentless focus on delivering real value for our customers.
• Give and receive feedback from other designers to raise our bar for quality.
• Responsible for ensuring designs are consistent, making sure products align with our brand, and identity.

Requirements

• 3+ years of product design experience.
• Strong online portfolio to demonstrate your product design experience.
• Solid grasp of creating work to satisfy KPIs and metrics from stakeholders.
• An understanding of how to gather data to support your design decisions.
• Ability to moderate customers in remote usability testing sessions.
• Capable of gathering requirements, creating the required assets and then presenting them to engineers.
• Follow a user-centric approach to creating work that satisfies our customers requirements.
• Capable of giving and receiving feedback in critique sessions to improve team practices.
• Capable of scoping requirements for work and giving rough estimates of timescales to complete it.
• Good understanding of industry trends and software. Use of Figma is a real plus.
• Experience sketching, wire-framing, and prototyping as part of the design process.
• Understanding of working in scrum and/or kanban would be helpful but not essential.
• Financial services experience would be a bonus.
