Job Summary

• Responsible for performing maintenance, repair, / replacement of all mechanical and electrical systems, as well as hospital equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and compliance with health and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance procedures.
• Prepare preventive maintenance work orders and conduct hospital rounds to identify and resolve system issues.
• Repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances to ensure power supply and operation.
• Replace faulty switches, sockets, plugs, fuses, insulators, and other basic electrical system components.
• Ensure all medical, mechanical, and electrical equipment functions optimally according to standard procedures.
• Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary.
• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety policies.
• Maintain a maintenance logbook and report daily activities.
• Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities.
• Supervise work done by suppliers and contractors to ensure compliance with quality and specifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or H.N.D in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Professional certification from COREN or any other relevant body is an added advantage.

Salary 
N200,000 / Month.
