Is obvious there are some issues associated with the 2015/2016 WAEC result May/june recently released, and this is the issue of “Result not available for this candidate in the specified year.” Yesterday,a candidate requested that we help him check his 2015 May/June WAEC results which has already been released but to our greatest surprise, we got the notification “Result not available for this candidate in the specified year” which we were assured by the candidate that the correct examination details was being entered.

What could have been the cause?
We tried making inquiries and observed that some fraction of WAEC candidates are also experiencing the same issue. For now we are unable to say what might have caused the issue but following the “Debt Crisis” between WAEC and some states, this might be the issue to some extent. You can consider reading “WAEC Withholds May/June 2015 Results Of 13 States.” On a second thought, if WAEC had wanted to let affected candidates know there result status, notifications like “Witheld Results” would have been used instead of the other.
Secondly, It means your result is yet to be uploaded online, keep on checking as soon as its uploaded you will see your result.
How we are going solve this?
Patience is the key to this and fear should not be nurtured for now till enough time is given. The moment we get updates regarding candidates with this issue, we will let you know via this portal.But be aware that candidates in this scenario are those whose results are yet to be uploaded online. . It was a Government owned secondary school in Bauchi. So please be a little bit patient while the next is released or we get updates.

No need to shed tears now. The next plan should be wat should be on ur mind. Consider another external examination.

Really can not run into conclusion now since the board has kept mute over the issue. But in time past, candidates in ur category see their results.

I have checked my result and printed it out already, but the school requested for scratch cards and so I tried to confirm my own scartch card by checking the result for the second time and they are saying it’s not available for the specified year, so i really need them to fix whatever it is because it might cause some problems when the school is trying confirm our results by themselves. thank you.

Sometimes it takes time for it to be released. But if i may ask, which of the exams are you referring to? is it that 2015 or 2016?
